Impressive array there Blade! :) Well done! I finally got my Bronze ebola badge! :) and bronze for the other WCG projects I'm doing too YAY - but something's gone horribly anniet-shaped with my last two clean energy project wu's. Only about 19 spins back to zero and 5.3 days to crunch what used to take about 7 hours :) Just doing my bit for the planet! :) |

If I remember correctly those clean energy WUs are something. Don't start more than one at a time (ie. wait 30 minutes if you're running more than one), because they use a lot of disk I/O when starting. |

Maybe that's just me though :) Wise people! :) Stop me if I'm getting too technical... but perhaps they used to allow more, then realised each cruncher would need several tanks to take them down with... you know... one by one... when they ran amok :) Budget probably wouldn't stretch to that... |

In the settings on the web page, you can specify more than one. Oh... So you can! :) Wonder why I thought the tick that was there when I attached to the project was... an order? Repressed childhood probably :) Thanks for the tip! :) I'll be steering well clear of it for awhile though :) |

At the moment I have the same Ebola badge as MrKermit. Who is MrKermit, you asked? He has access to a cluster of PCs that currently generating about 8Tflops of computing power. That's with 170 units being down ATM. But he has not stop there...up to 14Tflops!!! His globe with the number 50...it's for 50 years runtime/project, total of 1,200+ years!!! |

I found out how MrK is using that system for WCG. this is a 6 year old system we are retiring into an experimental role this year. It is roughly 3500 Nehalem+Westmere cores. It will be relocated into a less expensive home soon. BTW, it's up to 21.1Tfops! And he's moving up the ranks...overall/country/team...see his badge (it's updated regularly.). |
