So, which browser to choose - Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.

Apparently I am still left with IE8 on this 64 bit installation.

A new web-browser version apparently is not being automatically included in the automatic software updates from Microsoft.

At times there may become too many toolbars visible. I will need to hide some of these ones.

Google Chrome is lacking the little Goto arrow to the right of the address bar.

It really should have been included for simplicity.

One small error I notice which is both somewhat irritating and frustrating is the following one (link randomly chosen).

When using Google Chrome I have contents sorted on "Newest first".

The same really goes with IE8 as well.

Still using Google Chrome, I leave this page and is being redirected to the selected link still using the same tab.

Returning to the previous contents or page, I instead end up at the bottom of that page rather than at the link I left.

When I use Internet Exporer 8 instead, it rather opens up a completely new page (and not even a new tab in the same browser window instead).

Possibly web-browsing could benefit from some additional code which may tell the browser whether a selected link should be opened up in a new tab or window. Depending on the browser being used, it may seem that you not always end up where you wish to go and at least not return back to where you were.

At times I need to scroll a little up and down in a window to find where I left off unless using the text search tool being included in the browser.

I could add to this that when accessing a new web-page within the same tab, I apparently return back to exactly where I left in the previous web-page - at least when using Google Chrome.
