I have been running a bunch of MB's on my gpu r9 280x and they are all valid. As soon as I start running AP's I start getting those 30 pulses again.

I just adjusted my preferences to only MB's.

Crazy.

Lots of AP tasks for 2014 are very very noisy. I have hundreds of 30 pulses or 30/30 pulses tasks, which are valid. Example:

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=3809043916

You don't need to worry about that something is wrong, just because you have lots of noisy tasks.

If they validate, just keep on crunching. If you have lots of 30 pulses, and your wingmen doesn't, then it's time to start worrying :-)

Thanks Sten-Arne

I think you are probably ok I looked and found you had quite a few from ap_01jn14....... and they all have multiple spikes and repeating spikes with the majority being 30/30's

It happens frequently when re-filling cache after a period with none available. I once got 17 tasks as the first batch to re-fill, and they were all from the same "tape" and all 100% blanked.

Seems kind of strange but I wouldn't know how that works.

Worth watching for are AP tasks with _B3_P1_ in the name. That channel has been intermittently bad for years, often producing nothing but "100% blanked" tasks. I'd guess that WinterKnight's 17 in a row came from that channel during one of its bad periods.
