Somehow that doesn't surprise me a bit.

That's not any dumber, just more complicated, than turning on a light switch so you can find your way to the fuse/breaker box when the lights are out because the fuse/breaker blew.

I do that :))))

@The spate of left right comments :) (you know who you are :)))

Ever seen a right-hander use a left-handed corkscrew? :)))))))))))))))))))) Or played tennis against one of us? :)))))))))) Yes...

*leave thread midst multiple evil lol's* :)))

So if we are all mage in God's image,
does that mean that God is left handed?

Handedness . . . I hesitate to chime in. Well, my observations -- non-
scientific, of course -- peg left-handed people to be smarter than right-
handed ones.

In all fairness, although I am ambidextrous, I right with the right one.
My father was a lefty, and smart as a whip.

As Popeye said, "I am, what. . ."

I play basketball with the left hand, write with the right one, cut paper with the left hand and play guitar with the right one:)

I did not say anything nasty about left-handed people. All I said was that I'm not surprised Annie is one.

I am a rightie. However, I have found that I can train my left hand to do certain things. The best example is my computer trackball. I was getting carpal tunnel in my right arm from mousing, so I went to a trackball and it helped. Eventually, though, my first two fingers started getting stiff, so I moved the trackball to the left and trained my left hand to use it. Now it's better than the right (although sometimes the corresponding fingers get stiff); the right actually has trouble if it has to use the trackball. I have four of those trackballs: two at work, one on my daily surfing laptop, and one for my two crunchers.

Table manners (self-taught, in part, when I was 3yrs old; parents never
objected, believe it, or not):

Knife in the left hand, and fork in the right. No swapping needed.
Exception: Knife in the right hand, when carving (turkey, etc.), for others.

When eating in, especially, a larger beer hall, in Germany, people would
ask me, at times, why I ate with the knife in the left hand, and fork in
the right. I would, usually, reply with the question: "Why do you eat
with the knife in the right hand, and fork in the left?"

Customs/force of habit? Perhaps, they caught on to the individuality's
asserting itself, in the USA -- for better, or for worse. Today, a lot of
my friends, have started eating the "European" way. Perhaps, it's put-on,
perhaps not. For my part, differences can be a good thing -- like different
lights on a Christmas tree.

W/no "edit" button with the last post, I'll add that the fork would, also,
be held -- for the most part -- upside down. I never could get used to
that one (Try eating peas, that way.).

An old ditty: Ah eats mah peas with honey,
Ah've done it all mah life.
Hit makes the peas taste funny,
but keeps 'em on mah knife.

I'm a right hander. It does take a bit of extra thought and effort to feed myself with my left. As for peas. I like them in pepper gravy for some reason.
