After my recent complain about the download nonsense of blanked AP tasks, I want to raise a new issue. I don't remember correctly if this was also present in AP_v6. Why does a 100% blanked task get the same credit like a non-blanked task although it takes only about 3 seconds of cpu time?!? Pretty weird nonsense! |

I also complain: why has it never happened to me? I always get 0.4 credits in these cases... :-( Sleepy |

Well, it is rare occurrence of 'lucky' WU ;) http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1621822108 Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

It is a rare exception. I have had 3 like that vs 26 that granted the normal smaller credit out of my past 500 tasks. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

Yes, fairly rare. Out of 36 100% blanked AP v7 tasks that have validated on my hosts, only 5 have inflated credits, between 246.57 and 534.44. I think these will slowly disappear as more hosts reach their 11 validations threshold. |
