Wooo. I have 4 left. Perhaps I should suspend them until after your B-Day? SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

I just noticed I had this task in what looks like it would be one of those stuck in limbo forever states. However the 3rd result actually timed out. So I wonder if in that situation it will get purged normally. Well once the assimilation & purging processes resume again. So I wonder if in that situation it will get purged normally. Well once the assimilation & purging processes resume again. I would think so since there isn't someone waiting to get credit for it. Unless that person reports their result before it gets purged, but considering Eric's post a few minutes ago, it looks like it will be at least 7 more days before the AP database can get significant modifications (add/remove records, meaning.. can't split new WUs and can't purge assimilated WUs). That will be an interesting scenario to keep an eye on though. Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

As of 7 Nov 2014, 15:30:04 UTC: I have several team-mates with AP v6 tasks waiting for their wingmates to time-out around 19 Nov. Those will be resent, so we may have at least another several weeks - after the AP database and assimilators come back up - until all the AP v6 tasks are done. I'm guessing Christmas or New Year's. 982 I just wonder if there is another mistake in the code and they are calculating the turnround time from date and time created. They should really be calculating from time sent to time returned. if that is the case then it is quite probably this is time of original send, timed out - 25 days (600 hrs), plus the time for 3rd host to crunch task, and therefore true picture is 275.85 hrs. |

982 Since that number tends to run low as well as high, I think it is measured from time sent. As of 2130 884 6 468.85 David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

[As of 11 Nov 2014, 16:00:05 UTC] Being a realist, and a somewhat optimistic one at that, I'm still shooting for my birthday. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |
