Anyone want to predict when the "Results out in the field" (which is currently 22,500) will bottom out? Experience shows that it will probably never reach 0, but there will come a point where it stops dropping.

I'll go for my birthday, Dec. 3.

Ah... this game again. I remember watching when MB v6 would reach zero. It got down to 1..and then went back up to 3 or 5 again.

Um... Hm. Jan 17

I guess it doesn't help this time around that the project status page that we used before doesn't seem to work and, the server status page will switch over to showing what's going on with v7. At some point, I assume us enthusiasts will be in the dark as to just how many are left.

Since the old project status page we used to track the demise of MB v6, is dead, we will not be able to follow the demise of AP v6 for much longer.

I believe that long before the number of AP v6 out in the field drops to very low numbers, they will change the SSP to show AP v7.

Probably, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

The standard BOINC "server_status.php" could simply be reenabled when sah_status.php is switched to show AP v7. I hope that will happen even though it probably adds slightly to the server load.

I predict April 1, 2015. Just a date picked at random, LOL!
I will keep my AP v6 tasks enabled until the bitter end in hopes of completing the very last work unit. I guess nobody knows who completed the last MB v6 work unit, and probably nobody will know about AP v6 either. After v7 started coming out it took me several days to figure out that the SSP stats were pertaining to v6. I concur with other post that the server bosses will switch to v7 stats someday soon although I would vote to keep the v6 numbers until they've drained completely.

Wow, it is dropping fast.

I have 1 inconclusive AP6. About an hour ago, it timed out on the _2 host and 5 seconds later the server sent it to a _3 host. (Now watch the _2 report it and leave it stuck in limbo until someone decides to clean it up a year from now.)
