I have a 2.7 GHz CPU quad-core computer, but was running the on-board GPU until about a week ago. I put in a Radeon HD 7730, and everything seems to work fine except that BOINC and Seti@Home do not recognize the new card. I'm getting a BOINC message that says "GPU Missing". Does anyone know what I need to do to reset it? |

Did you install the full AMD Catalyst driver package after installing the graphics card? And did you reboot after doing so? |

I used the install disc they sent with the card, and yes, I did reboot. Several times, in fact, as I had trouble getting my monitor to adapt to it. |

More than likely the Catalyst package included with the disc doesn't have the proper OpenCL libraries to support crunching. Try downloading directly from AMD. You may have to uninstall your current driver to install the one supplied by AMD. |

I'll try that right now. Thank you. |

THANK YOU! That looks like it did the trick. I'll know more when I let the computer sit long enough to kick over into screensaver mode, but at least BOINC Manager isn't saying "GPU Missing" now. |
