Had a power outage yesterday, not sure if that had something to do with it.

A power outage may have done some horrible things to your data, especially with the operating system not necessarily handling the interruption very gracefully. BOINC doesn't take errors in the client_state.xml very well and if it doesn't like what it finds, it can easily dump all tasks, leaving them marked as 'abandoned'.

In this case the client_state.xml was O.K, It's the account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml and statistics_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml that it couldn't read, I've had my statics reset before, so it's O.K to loose that, but not the account file:

Thanks for the info.

Still interesting on how it lost my account info.

I've had a similar problem on September 11th where 200 WU were abandoned. It was too late to check the logs when I found out about it. I am sure I didn't have any power failures but I've had a normal restart during that day. Maybe I've forgotten to exit BOINC before triggering the restart and Windows killed it in a way that BOINC didn't like it?
