Hi,

I am crunching with 2 GPU's on the same pc... a GTX 780ti and a GTX 750ti. I was kind of surprised that the 780ti seems to be processing units at about the same speed as the 750ti is. The 780ti has 2880 cuda cores, and the 750ti only has 640.. I would have expected much faster work unit completions on the 780ti.

With different models that are not SLI compatible... do they just process as the speed of the slower model (again, not in SLI)? Or should they be able to crunch independently of each other?

I also noticed when I look at my computer profile, it list my pc as having 2 750ti's.. not a 780ti and 750ti. Also worth mentioning, I am running on the lunatics .42 installer.

Thanks

I've looked at some of your results and I'm seeing that the 780Ti is crunching 4-6 times faster than the 750Ti.

I'm not quite sure what you're looking at or if the units I picked to look-at are not typical.

They do crunch independently, but the angle range (AR) of tasks makes so much difference that it's sometimes difficult to get a solid comparison. Luckily, you've had some work where you got multiple tasks split from the same 107.34 seconds of a tape.

Here's directly comparable results from your validated tasks:

IOW, the 750 is taking over twice as long as the 780 both at midrange and for VHAR shorties.

I also noticed when I look at my computer profile, it list my pc as having 2 750ti's.. not a 780ti and 750ti. Also worth mentioning, I am running on the lunatics .42 installer.

Thanks

BOINC only keeps track of the first GPU of a brand, additional ones are shown as the same.
