I recently brought a second computer on line but it doesn't have enough work currently. Question is can I transfer some of the Data Files from the data file on one computer to another over my home network by cut and paste? I suspect it's not that simple but if there is a method please enlighten me. DG "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

No (you can't transfer some of the Data Files (without going into details - you can transfer all or nothing)) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

Or you can setup offline processing on secondary PC and transfer completed work back on first for reporting. But this requires either lot of manual work or sophisticated scripting. |

Thanks guys, I'm not a sophisticated scripter, nor do I wish to take on 'lots of manual work', I'll live with the situation. Now that the weekend is done I'm getting some work for the 2nd machine. Thanks again. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |
