I have two Windows user accounts on Win 8.1 and I wish to only run BOINC on one of the accounts. Currently it starts on each account when signing into the account. Is there a way to set this preference? I have not found anything in my searches. I suspect there was an option when I installed and I may have missed this step. If so, is there any way to change it once it is set? Thanks for the help! |

On the account that you do not want to run BOINC on: Open BOINC Manager -> Tools -> Options -> Uncheck Run Manager at login? -> OK. When you (update-)install BOINC, third screen in the installer, click Advanced, then uncheck Allow all users on this computer to control BOINC. |
