I have been getting these messages for about a week now (please see below). I did not change any settings so is SETI@HOME 'off-the-air'? Permanently?

Paul

Seti is still up and running. You can check the server status below

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html

There is probably an issue somewhere. Have you tried turning off and then back on BOINC? How about resetting the project? Just some places to start. Also, better to try Number Crunching in Message Boards when posting. This area doesn't get as much viewing as that area does so you may wait a long time here before someone responds. Let us know how it goes

There appears to have been some server-side change which has affected hosts still using BOINC 6.2.19. Take a look at Message 1566331 and others around it in that thread. Best bet would appear to be to install a newer version of BOINC.

Appreciated. I am inddded BIONIC 6.2.19 so that sounds like the issue. Many thanks.

Too little information to go on, and with your computers hidden neigh on impossible to state this or that is the cause. So why not tell what BOINC you have, give a link to the host in question, tell what errors it gives, post its start-up messages and so forth?

The original problem in this thread was fixed with an update to the scheduler.
