What Universe do you live in? One who really admired the work of Hugh Everett is Max Tegmark. You can see him talk with Mark Everett in the documentary about his father. Max Tegmark is a Swedish-American cosmologist. Tegmark is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is the scientific director of the Foundational Questions Institute. He is educated in the same university, The Royal Institute of Technology (Swedish: Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, abbreviated KTH) as I was. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Tegmark |

I notice it is the non-fiction section. Is that the correct section? The library of Congress has the bible listed in class B, philosophy, psychology and religion, subclass BS. But I'm sure the BS doesn't stand for bull s#@t. It appears the library of congress has therefore avoided putting it in the fiction section. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

To ascribe to Modern Western Culture the belief's of a few, and to say the vast majority of a 'belief' WILL FOLLOW EVERYTHING written: Shows either a fundamental ignorance of how Human Organizations truly conduct themselves, or another agenda. So lets confine that to events that have taken place in the present lifetime of persons on this planet. You frequently invoke them, so I hardly would think it necessary to point out the event to you, but somehow you think western culture is somehow immune to the frailties of human thought processes. Kristallnacht. As a former police officer you should know how easy it is to whip up a crowd into a frenzy. You should realize that religious fervor is an excellent incendiary device. If you were paying attention you would have learned about western religions that whip up the flock into hypnotic states and things like speaking in tongues. As of the number of times you have invoked the perpetrators of Kristallnacht I am beginning to think you are being disingenuous and not ignorant. |

Pat Dollard on breitbart.com wrote: If there is even one more act of Muslim terrorism, it is them time for Americans to start slaughtering Muslims in the streets, all of them. Mary Baker on teapartynation.com wrote: Gay Supremacy is becoming a monster that carries greater evils than white supremacy ever did. David Horowitz on Sean Hannity Show wrote: The American Left is the fountainhead of antisemitism now. Glenn Beck wrote: I'm telling you, Hillary Clinton will be having sex with a woman on the White House desk if it becomes popular. Donald Sterling wrote: It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people. Do you have to? Calling for slaughter on the streets is a pretty good indication that Western society is no different than any other. Why should it be? It is composed of humans as they are. Using religion to promote hate is a universal way for the shaman to get donations so he can continue being a parasite on society. One wonders just how much vital life blood they suck out of society. |

So many follow the books of hate ..... The best statement I have read in this SETI forum is 'I'm Tolerant of Everything, EXCEPT Intolerance.' It was not a religous statement just common sense. |

No different to politicians using "In God We Trust" on their money & inciting their country to act on their declaration of "War on Terror". Nice shamans! |
