Hello Crunchers! I'm testing a system I just finished setting up, but Asteroid is down several days. Anyone who can suggest a project which uses cuda/GPU?? Has to be a standard like with Asteroid, my Boinc is pretty much standard ;) Project Headless CLI Linux Multiple GPU Boinc Servers Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 64bit Kernel 3.13.0-32-generic CPU's i5-4690K GPU's GT640/GTX750TI Nvidia v.340.29 BOINC v.7.2.42 |

Why not SETI? Seti MB GPU crunching uses CUDA too. |

You could also look at http://www.gpugrid.net/. Their long runs last for 8-12 hours on the fastest cards, and stress them pretty much to the max throughout. That's the toughest CUDA test (cuda60) I know of in the BOINC world, and it's doing real (biochemical/biomedical) science in the process. |

Primegrid and Einstein both have standard Nvidia apps. |

When asking questions like that don't expect people to go and check your computers You have to stress that you use only Linux  - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |

Hi, Thanks a lot guys ;) I'll check it out... Forgot to mention the Linux part as "BilBg" so friendly enlightened me about ;) And BilBg is quite right too.. sorry about that guys.. BilBg, I did learn something from you though ;) I know, to get Linux/GPU crunching on the SETI jobs, I'll have to set it up. It's not standard for a Linux dude ;) I'll remember and I will come to that whenever my tests are over ;) Thanks Guys, Project Headless CLI Linux Multiple GPU Boinc Servers Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 64bit Kernel 3.13.0-32-generic CPU's i5-4690K GPU's GT640/GTX750TI Nvidia v.340.29 BOINC v.7.2.42 |
