Why do the people not listen to there priests whom say Capitalism is evil in a country that is very religious ? Rules of this thread are that you must have watched it to comment . Ive seen it, and I honestly wasn't to impressed by it. Micheal Moore is a horrible director. Well its not meant as a blockbuster but as a information doco and has good examples of good Capitalism and bad Capitalism like the workers at a bakery that earn $60,000 per year 3 times more than a pilot or the Engerineering company where everyone own the company and shears in it profits . But after doing a quick search i got the answer why Franklin D Roosevelt second bill of rights has not been introduced both Obama and Roosevelt belong to the Democratic Party so i have to conclude Moore is right the ppl are dumb as they have been brainwashed into believing in a system that is so corrupt it's not funny |

Typical answer i expected a Nation that hangs on to old ideas without seeing if there even appropeate in this modern world will fail Rome is a good example and seeing the Federalist papers have been used in the federal courts to stop changes then don't you think it's about time you woke up as it the very Judges that have changed thing and is screwing America up . But you haven't seen it so i point you to the rules of this thread and make no more comments until you have seen it |

Yes, the judges who are screwing everything up are the ones who don't follow the teachings of the Federalist papers and make up law to what ever their feelings are for the day. We stopped following the teachings of the founding fathers in 1913 and it has been a down hill trip ever since. I have made a rule to avoid any of Moore's films as he is a Marxist. If you haven't learned anything about how those governments handled the WWII or the Cold war, then you need to understand far more about government than you claim to know. You are only stating an uninformed opinion. |

Glenn, I think you are on a hiding to nowhere on this one. The rightwingers just see the name Michael Moore and they see red. They won't discuss his movie in the way you want. Federal judges, when interpreting the Constitution, frequently use the Federalist Papers as a contemporary account of the intentions of the framers and ratifiers.[29] They have been applied on issues ranging from the power of the federal government in foreign affairs (in Hines v. Davidowitz) to the validity of ex post facto laws (in the 1798 decision Calder v. Bull, apparently the first decision to mention The Federalist).[30] By 2000, The Federalist had been quoted 291 times in Supreme Court decisions source wiki yep i don't know anything ok |

Thanks Es99 i will have to stay consistent and red x your post unless you have seen the doco ? It's why i put rules for people to comment if you haven't seen it don't comment please I don't what right wingers as you say to bully others that may agree with some or all of what he has in the doco as they already do that and why America is having so many problem domestically they drown out those whom just what to make things more fair and not necessary be called a socialist or commy which Moore does suggest is how they in wall st have been able to manipulate the people and screw everybody or at least the 99% of average joe's |

What is not mentioned is that the Conservative judges do use the Federalist papers. The Liberal judges may claim a federalist argument but they twist it so far out of shape that conservatives wonder what drugs they were on when they wrote the decision. Our government is one of limited powers. If it's not in the Constitution, the government can't claim that power. I am sure it is far different in your country and that is your right but it's not what we signed up for. I have spent several years answering one question. Why is our government so messed up and where did go wrong. This took me all the way back to the founding and through the Marxist movement and it's introduction to the United States. We had some very bright men design our government, far brighter than most people are today. It's only when we thought we knew better than them that we got into trouble. |

Thanks Es99 i will have to stay consistent and red x your post unless you have seen the doco ? To be honest, Glenn. I think I have seen the movie, but I don't remember it. I guess it didn't make much of an impression? I find that Michael Moore is good at making a popular, easy to understand documentary based on other people's ideas. People like Noam Chomsky will explain things better, in more detail and with excellent data to back what he says up. However he can be very dense to follow, which is why there is a place for entertainers like Michael Moore. He is a showman and very good at it. Reality Internet Personality |

Dena, this is a responces to several of your last posts, IMO you are more concerned with history than what is right. We have spoken before concerning ocean acidifaction just prior to your move and all I can say is the oyster situation is worse than it was and your last post on that subject was an ad hominium attact on the authors of the papers. Your credibility rivals the great poster ID. |

Dena, this is a responces to several of your last posts, IMO you are more concerned with history than what is right. As I recall, the type of acid was never tested for. There was nothing linking it to CO2. It was just an unknown acid and one of the worst written papers I have ever seen. |

yes please Facts stated in this Doco The US treasury is now run by Goldman Sachs and not the US Congress Most of the top officials in the Bush years where in receipt of kickbacks special loans and promotions to get rid of regulations in the finances industry . A top FBI officials that blew the lid on the savings and loans affair warned the Bush admin in 2002 of the threat to American sovereignty After the bailout company's like City bank wasted a lot of money on perks and kickbacks Showed 2 cases of why getting sick in the US may be very beneficial to your employer as you are all DEAD PEASANTS and why your family will probably end up owing $100,000 in medical bills and your in a coffin. Showed documents that show certain organisations whingeing about the DEAD PEASANTS where to low at 78% and that it needs to be lifted and what there biggest fear is . People waking up and actually using there vote and if this was to happen the ripping of and good days may come to a end and how they may stop this And as i said at the start he showed some good Capitalism He also interviewed some of your politicians and even showed there speeches in congress But seeing as i'm a dumb dumb i would not know whom here has lied . So close your eyes keep doing what you have and when your family is broke you are 6 feet under know this your boss has done very well out of your death Then and only then may you ask the question he did why is it illegal to take out a insurance policy against your neighbours house for fire . Answer because you have a vested interest in it burning down But hey it ok for your employer to control your health care and take out a insurance policy and make them self's the beneficiary They would not be denying you the health care your actually need would they after all your worth more Dead than paying out for the proper health care So for those that haven't seen it you still think it's funny now But hey he's a commy socialist maxist scumbag whom knows and cares more than those that are the DEAD PAESENTS I'm a mushroom put me in a dark corner and feed me nothing but B/S so i can grow big and strong for the human to eat me |

The thing with Moore is that I don't trust him. He is very good at editing stuff to make him look good an others like heartless bastards. And you can trust Moore to leave out all facts and data that don't suit his argument. What he does is not honest reporting, its not journalism, its not giving his opponents a fair chance to respond, its just propagating Moore's worldview. Now, I agree that he has a few good points, but as a documentary maker I find him shallow, biased and untrustworthy to the point I rather watch someone else. |
