Perhaps the only you can do - disable getting tasks for ATI: Use ATI GPU no SETI@home preferences This old GPU have just 128 MB RAM and I doubt it can be used here. (in fact this app (cal_ati) will be deprecated soon when the new AstroPulse v7 will be enabled here - only GPUs which support OpenCL will be able to do AstroPulse v7, there will be no app for CAL (the old ATI way to do Computing on GPU)) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

I had truble with Seti V7.03 and Astropulse V6.06. I update the ADM Grsphics Driver and the tasks runs OK. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download " Automatically Detect and Install Download Now " __________________ |

Your GPU is many years newer: AMD Kalindi (1457MB) OpenCL: 1.2 vs AMD ATI Radeon HD 2300/2400/3200/4200 (RV610) (128MB) (and I doubt you fixed your problem - it is too early to say, more time (days) for testing needed (I still think Antivirus may be involved in your case as it was many times in the past for many users)) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

@BilBg Thanks for your observation. I was hoping there were run-time parameters/optimizations which could allow for the limitations of my old GPU. WUPROP has AstroPulse v6 statistics for GPUs in the same group... |
