What is Macross Frontier??? Is it new??? I know about Robotech - Macross series, Robotech Masters, Robotech Invid; but, haven't heard about Macross Frontier. I loved Robotech. :-)

What is Macross Frontier??? Is it new??? I know about Robotech - Macross series, Robotech Masters, Robotech Invid; but, haven't heard about Macross Frontier. I loved Robotech. :-)

Macross Frontier is a 25 episode series and a movie descended from Macross, I have the entire Robotech series on DVD and 2 Alpha fighters. So far the series is only sub titled in English, not dubbed, though it is available on DVD for Region 1. Arigato.

Macross Frontier (マクロスF (フロンティア) Makurosu Furontia?) is a Japanese animated science fiction space drama that aired in Japan on MBS from April 3, 2008 to September 25, 2008. It is the most recent Japanese anime television series set in the Macross universe. Animated by Satelight, it premiered in Japan on MBS on April 3, 2008. A pre-broadcast airing, called Macross Frontier Deculture Edition or Macross Special Edition (マクロスSP版 Makurosu SP Ban?), showcasing a preview version of the first episode was aired on December 23, 2007. The series also received its satellite television premiere in Japan on Animax on April 7, 2008.[1]

Macross Frontier is the story of a human space colony fleet trying to find a habitable planet near the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Oh and in Macross Frontier the Zentradi(male and female) are there and living peacefully with Humans in the Macross Frontier colonization fleet, they both have a new enemy called the 'Vajra', the 'Vajra' seem to use what amounts to drones(and 'Vajra' is only a term applied to them, since not a lot is known about the 'Vajra' as it were), biological ones in fact. The Frontier has already sent an SDF to rescue ships of the Macross Galaxy(an earlier group of colonization ships).

SDF to those who don't know means 'Super Dimensional Fortress'.
