I have merged results between 2 LINUX releases on PCs with the same ComputerID. I also had a LINUX PC which now has Windows and a GPU installed. The computer ID is 'jaczar-iq6600' on both. I can't merge the LINUX cobblestones into the Windows cobblestones since it is the same box with another OS. Any suggestions on how? Also, I would like to merge the cobblestones from several retired PCs into an active one. All these PCs have different Computer IDs. Any suggestions how? |

I can't merge the LINUX cobblestones into the Windows cobblestones since it is the same box with another OS. Any suggestions on how? You cannot. Since you changed the operating system, it's become a different computer according to BOINC. Also, I would like to merge the cobblestones from several retired PCs into an active one. All these PCs have different Computer IDs. Any suggestions how? Also something you cannot do. HostIDs are pretty much unique, merging several different machines into one cannot be done. What you can do is delete them. When any of them have an empty task list, you can delete the hostID. The credits it gathered stay with your account. |
