You never know what might be wandering around out there...

Plenty of wildlife around this little country village as well and some of it likes to come in and mosey around. :-)

Time for another refill again.

Cheers.

Finished my Angry Orchard, finished watching the pilot of Extant. Now it's time for bed.

Goodnight everyone. :-)

I was not familiar with that new series. I just read a little about it, and it sounds good. I'll have to try to remember to tape it next week.

That series starts here on Sunday night.

Cheers.

Rabbits, foxes, deer, kangaroos, wallabies, snakes and possums mainly, though it's better to stay away from the snakes.

Cheers.

G'day Byron, us beer drinkers here have been doing very well today and I hope that you have enjoyed your day. :-)

Enjoy that cider there TL. ;-)

Having a wildlife moment while working Gordon? Does that come under "fringe benefits"? Have a good night anyway. ;-)

Cheers.

I can handle about anything but skunks, over the years I got hit about 3 or 4 times.

Beer O'clock is in full swing and JWr's is here too. :))

The one big disadvantage of working with freon for 24 years Is that it dose tend to kill the sense of smell. The one advantage is I cant smell skunks the way my wife can. I can barely smell up close to them, While she gags at a road kill going by in the car. But I can still smell when a pilot light goes out on our stove before she can.

Hi everyone. What a tough day. I didnt have to run any machines, Just do a setup. Im an operator not a setup man. I rarely do a setup so IM rusty as hell. But I got her done. And have the massive headache to prove it.

G'day James, well at least now you can sit back and have a good rest (maybe even fit in a beer or 2). ;-)

Cheers.

I can imagine that was a headache. I've got my job so down pat, I'm on autopilot. No variance in the routine. Got it down to a science.

Im hoping that by doing more setups and getting better at them I can get a better pay raise next year. I went a full year after we moved to the new building with out doing one. Ive been doing a setup about once a week now for the last two weeks. we usally have big runs. My machines usally have a run of any where between 2,000 and 10,000 parts. The last few weeks its been 250. 400. 500. It takes longer to set a machine up then run the parts.
Edit-Im beat Im going to bed. Night all.

They can be and you certainly wouldn't want a 6' buck bouncing around in there either.

I just let them alone, about the only thing I can't stand is pigs. They can do in a yard fast. we haven't seen any around here yet but the south sure has. But pigs kick a snake butt.

A snake has no effect on a pig from what I have been told and another one is a ginnie hen also well. Farmers would keep them in the yard just for them.

No, but considering the amount of intoxicated people that hang out in the hotel bar and have a hard time walking through the lobby to the elevator, a kangaroo might make things interesting... ;~}[/quote]

Well, I can maybe understand the pig, but a guinea hen? That's funny.
