Hi All. I have a long gone Mac, 18 months maybe, but I don't see anyway to remove it from my account. I click into 'details' on the 'my computers' page but I only see 'merge'. I have deleted computers from this page before but not this one. Any ideas? |

I assume it's this host? Normally, you can delete the hostID when it has no task showing anymore in the task list (aka, everything has validated one way or another). In this case though, it would seem that there's a couple of tasks stuck, pending validation. They're not really pending, as two other hostIDs have gotten credit, just yours didn't. Why yours didn't was probably due to your task and one other being compared, them not being found to be close enough for validation and a third sent out for comparison. Usually the third task agrees with one of the other two task results, gives those two credit and leaves the third empty handed at zero credit. Here though that didn't happen, yours still showing as pending. I'll email Eric Korpela about it, perhaps that he can figure it out. |

Those tasks have now gotten (late) credit, and will be removed from sight within 24 hours. After that time you'll be able to remove the hostID. |
