How do I set this up to stop requesting new tasks? I'd like to let the 80 or so tasks that I have on my computer finish up before accepting any more jobs. Thanks |

I found the setting under advanced view > projects > allow new tasks. I assume this works as expected and just pushed an update to the servers. |

Given the rate you are ploughing through tasks you will not have very long to wait before you run out (A few minutes ago you were down to just over 40 tasks to do.) BOINC is pretty clever at maintaining sufficient tasks and getting them done in time, provided you don't fiddle too much. Until you've done a reasonable number of tasks, and they have been validated the estimated time to completion will be very pessimistic, so don't be alarmed at seeing estimates that are 10 times (or more) the actual execution time.
