It is a hit or miss situation... I use Photoshop CS and or Photoshop Elements (PSH Elements is a great program and is afordable. Below is from trial and Error. If you can suggest more tips Great! 1. No More than 100x100 pixels 2. Better luck with PNG than JPG's 3. No more than 256 color 4. 8 bit in color range 5. Under 4k in size of file. If the Avatar is over 100X100px it is resized looks like crap. If over 4k color info is discarded and replaced by crap. Again I hit it 70% of the time. Trail and error! After you upload your Avatar you can see it in your preferences. If the old Avatar is still there hit F5 to refresh. There is no need to post a "TEST" to see. When you change Avatars all of your previous posts Avatars also change. Again If you know of any tips that work Go for it! List them.... ID: 56649 ·
