Hi,any way to have two AP on my ati5770 and one on a10-5800k? and have setting on each in ap_cmdline_win_x86_SSE2_OpenCL_ATI.txt? 5/20/2014 1:33:20 AM | | OpenCL: AMD/ATI GPU 0: ATI Radeon HD 5700/6750/6770 series (Juniper) (driver version 1445.5 (VM), device version OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1445.5), 1024MB, 991MB available, 3242 GFLOPS peak) 5/20/2014 1:33:20 AM | | OpenCL: AMD/ATI GPU 1: AMD Radeon HD 7500/7600/8500/8600 series (Devastator) (driver version 1445.5 (VM), device version OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1445.5), 1024MB, 992MB available, 1945 GFLOPS peak) |

BOINC does't device-centric so "not in easy way". You would need 2 separate BOINC installations with one enabled and another deisblad GPUs in them. SETI apps news We're not gonna fight them. We're gonna transcend them. |

If you want to follow Raistmer sugestion and try, there is a explanation on how to run 2 instances of Boinc on the same hosts in Vyper´s site but be aware, use only if you realy knows what you are doing, if you don´t know not try, it´s easy to loose all your BOINC work if you do something wrong. http://vyper.kafit.se/wp/index.php/2011/02/04/running-different-nvidia-architectures-most-optimal-at-setihome/comment-page-1/#comment-125 |

Another option is exclude the A10-5800K from doing AP, and make it do Seti v7 exclusively, and exclude the HD5770 from doing Seti v7 and make it do AP exclusively, In the cc_config.xml: <exclude_gpu> <url>http://setiathome.berkeley.edu</url> <device_num>1</device_num> <type>ATI</type> <app>astropulse_v6</app> </exclude_gpu> <exclude_gpu> <url>http://setiathome.berkeley.edu </url> <device_num>0</device_num> <type>ATI</type> <app>setiathome_v7</app> </exclude_gpu> Then you are free to set the HD5770 up to do two AP Wu's at once, in your app_config.xml <app_config> <app> <name>astropulse_v6</name> <gpu_versions> <gpu_usage>0.5</gpu_usage> <cpu_usage>0.4</cpu_usage> </gpu_versions> </app> </app_config> But you'll probably have trouble keeping the number of Seti v7 tasks to a minimum, unless you only allow Seti v7 requests for short durations. hi, thank you, it was tough, but I think I have it working. I will change little more after it runs some, took lots of hours trying different stuff to make it work. I have 2 Boinc windows open and see one running AP wu on the 5770 and the other AP wu on the apu. |

hi, the server gets this info from a file on my computer? as it dont show AstroPulse v6 (anonymous platform, ATI GPU) on http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/host_app_versions.php?hostid=7291233 after i switch to AP6_win_x86_SSE2_OpenCL_ATI_r2180 and it has completed and valided a few, as http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1505110853 and http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1504927554 |

Did that work have to get resent so it shows up as 'anonymous platform, ATI GPU' work, when you have completed tasks that were sent after you applied the app_info, then they will show up on the host app versions page. yes, i had lots of AP work-units, i added AP6_win_x86_SSE2_OpenCL_ATI_r2180 and and lost all the WU and it is re-sending them and Completed and validated a few, that show up on http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=7842702&offset=0&show_names=0&state=4&appid= , but not on the http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/host_app_versions.php?hostid=7291233 page. I look at that page Average processing rate, and change my ap_cmdline_win_x86_SSE2_OpenCL_ATI.txt to see if i can get it higher. They was showing up on the Application column as AstroPulse v6 v6.06 (opencl_ati_100) and now showing up as AstroPulse v6 Anonymous platform (ATI GPU), but dont show up http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=7291233 or http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/host_app_versions.php?hostid=7291233 The error WUs was from when i tried to use 64bit fftw dll. |

Are you trying for 2 GPU's on one A-10 using the Integrated GPU? Or are you trying to run 2 tasks on 1 GPU? From the conversation there appeared to be a question of how to run with no GPU? As someone pointed out in another thread, you can setup 3 different preferences and group your PC's to work on different projects/etc. That might help. Are you trying to run 2 GPU's one the integrated one and the other the discrete GPU card on the same box? Just got my A-10 5700 up a couple of days ago so looking for other A-10 users.
