Yesterday BOINC was very slow and credit was granted very slowley to everyone. I supppose this was due to the database problems described in the technical news. OcUk managed less than 5,000 cobblestones, but this is probably only a glitch.

Are there still problems at Berkeley or are we witnessing the mother of all resistance? The OcUK graph clearly shows when the scheduler stopped and when it started.

I think that Seti Germany are trying to rally some support from the Seti Classic guys. Plus, one of our big crunchers had 90% of his machines in the 'not on' position over the Christmas break. Hopefully service will return as normal.

The graph is a good timeline of events at B0rkeley ;-)

Watch this space :-)

Yes it looks like there is no Deutsch resistance. Thats a shame Hans it could have been more exciting. It was just the slow validator at B0rkeley (I love the new name Dunc). Less than 50,000 now for the mother of all stomps!

I'm doing the best I can. :o)

I'm even reanimating retired PCs to up my RAC,
but generating an additional RAC of 15000 is _slightly_ above my budget :-P

You should not have retired so early those PCs Hans they seem to be making a big difference! Today it was almost equal except for 1h when you were probably out for lunch :o)

Blimey this is turning to be a battle and a half! I suppose the last 50,000 cobblestones are the hardest. ;o)

Since this graph was published here OCUK managed to recruit almost 20 new members (380 now), but SETI Germany got over 40 new crunchers (1191 now). This is serious business!

I think that it may be the sudden surge in Validation that has given SG a sudden boost.

Look at the results for the last 2 days (6th and 7th) compared with the average :-O

t will be interesting when things level out to see the real outputs are.

Still a good fight is more fun than a walk over ;-)

Well done OcUK that graph looks even better! The daily grid area now shows the total number or returned cobblestones (before it was just the difference between the teams). From the graph we can clearly see that the B0rkeley Validator is working a lot more efficiently i.e. the number of validated work units has almost doubled.

Well your graph is good, but your beat is not so good. So far today, OcUK has been thoroughly stomped! Is this the beginning of a beat reversal? :(

Lol it's rather amusing, but it's ALMOST as if I'm talking through you Dunc! You always manage to say what I'm thinking about 'THE' child aka tioat

DO have to say though Dunc, that question about whether he/she had anything intelligent to say.......

Just look through his/her previous posts!

Oooh, and looks like we (OcUK) are back in business! :D
