Ya know..........I never did get that 'what a man needs to know' speech from my own dad.
He gave me all of my work ethics, and an amazing love for human life, and that of all other living things on this planet.
I trudged forward nonetheless.
And I ask for you to do all the same.

Do something in my name. Bequest a little to a kitty. Befriend a little one that has no other way. Do what the kitties would do. In my name and friendship.

I have well enough told you now what and where my heart is.

It is now YOUR responsibility to see that me life of love and caring is forever carried on.

Since I don't have many personal friends, and I don't carry on with other than Lori, it could be days if I should depart before my love of life has gone on.

You, my Seti friends, must carry on in my name.

I watch both from time to time.
Blade Runner reminds me of my mortality.
Second Hand Lions reminds me of my individuality. It is a very little known movie, and far under the radar for most. Exceptional movie.

Both have their place in my heart.
Both can be watched on youtube as desired or needed.

I have things in my soul that trouble me. I have some things offsetting in my soul that at times set me free.
It seems that of late, the downside is taking hold, and I am struggling to get above water. I drown easily. If I did not care, I would not post these things, I should just give up and go away.
I struggle, for reasons I have posted in another thread, with explanations attached. I don't really expect most of you to have a clue. It's hard to accept another's description of a problem that you do not possess or have to try to deal with.
I suppose, one day soon, it shall be my time. And as the quote goes, much knowledge and other things that I possess in my mind shall go with me forever.
The question is not whether I can live with that, it is...can you?

I see the sunshine and revel in it's wonder. And then I sit here and cry for the afternoon and wonder why it did not shine all day.
I watched kitty documentaries for most of the day, and shared many of them via links with you all.
Then the bottom somehow dropped out and I went bipolar again. Sucks.
Drugs don't help this shit as much as some of you might like to think.

He's dead now too, but he at least recognized the fact.

Alone, in the darkness I heard him cry.
Nobody ever since asked when or why.

You all see me at present as a fool, someone to shun. That works for me, it does not cause me much pain, really. I toss my thoughts to the wind, and if something or somebody catches it and takes it further than I could have originally, that is progress, right?

I have seen and known more than most of you have or ever shall. I cannot really explain just why, but it is true. I don't really need to explain to you anything. Because I know what I know, and that is my gospel. It's my truth, and I do not require any of you to validate that. It is just who I have become and am. Ya know, the kittyman bit goes way back from years ago. Nobody ever discussed cats on Seti. I just was not a subject of common conversation.
One day I got tight and started talking about Tigger. And how I missed her soooooooooooo much and just how devastated I was when I lost her.
Things went off like a shot from there, and others started to confess that they, too...........loved cats.
The response was staggering......I was NOT the only one who loved kitties. I was merely the key in the lock. And once folks and freiends realized that they could be open and above board about talking about cats, all claws were on the table, so to speak. Those were very fine days for me. I was not drinking as much, and my thoughts flowed freely, without looking back much.

These days, it seems that I have to be rather retrospective most of the time, because I always have somebody coming up after me........trying to take my chair..whatever. It is and always ahall be MY chair. If you want it, it's gonna be a very hard fight, my friend. A very hard one.
You want my position here? I'll give it up only when I see one come up that is a worthy one. A kitten. A lion King. I await the day.

And I shall surely step aside when Mustafa asks me to.

I know it's not m place to be King forever.
My time is coming, kids. The circle of life, you see. I am no longer the kitten I was at one time. And old cats have to give way to the young pride.

I would ask, however, a certain amount of respect and deference to my former status as king here. I don't need the fight for the throne that might otherwise be necessary. I shall walk away, tail high, if you let me.
It need not lead to a fight to the death.
