Hello, everyone, just recently I've finally gotten back into BOINC processing. To get straight to the point: Has anyone had any experience with the avg. production from a single R9 280x? It doesn't matter that much, My mind's already made up for my new PC build this summer, but I'm curious as to see if anyone else here has this particular card (most people seem to either have Nvidia or much older cards) and what they think of it. Gonna also be paired with a i5 4670K.

I have two systems running now. Both have i7 3770 and a single r9 270x. If we get a steady run of AP wu, I expect to see both racs steady out at 38k to 40k.
I used to be a cruncher like you, then I took an arrow to the knee.

Thanks, seahawk. Looks like I'll be getting more from that one GPU than my measly month's worth of CPU time on my Pentium 4 did!

Right now I'm running one of my i5-4670K's with just 4 CPU + Intel GPU doing both MB & AP on the CPU. Which seems to give between 8-9K RAC. Depending on how you run you could use that as a base number for your new system perhaps.
