Message 1512286 - Posted: 4 May 2014, 20:25:05 UTC - in response to Message 1512237.

Sitting here doing nothing useful.

Ping!

Install Virtual Box onto your computer and then install Ubuntu GNOME 14.04. Then you can play with Linux and not be bored. I can't say that I know Linux, yet; however, I'm learning. :-)

I have a lot of other useless things to do before I do that.

Ping!

My list before I start saving for a house with an IDA account and getting a secured Capital One card to get My credit score back is fairly short, but then I never have a lot of room in the budget, so I want to get these done 1st...

A shocked post, I replaced a light switch, got shocked twice, only 1 wire the neutral wire gave Me any problems, on the old switch it was stuck and the rear wire release wouldn't work, I got the wire out, though I had split that area of the dead switch to get the wire out, it was junk, now it's busted junk, I got all the wires reinstalled in the right locations on the new switch with a phillips screwdriver, installed the switch in an upright position, cleaned the wall plate and dried it like a dinner plate, now I have a working bathroom light switch, the park hasn't done anything in over a month here, so I got tired of waiting, it's fixed and that is that, it's the 2nd light switch I've had to replace, but then they don't last forever...

Which one? None are labeled, still no harm done and considering 2 wires of 4 were hot(possibly, though at the time I didn't know which of 3 wires was which), 1 was neutral and one was a bare ground wire, the only wire that I knew of for sure to not be hot was the bare ground wire, as the other 3 wires all have black insulation on them, needless to say the whole thing is wired as it should be and everything works.
