The Last Person To Post Wins thread, general rules:

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread.
6. Go to 1.

Supplemental rules:
A. Multiple posting (the same poster posting two or more posts in succession) is frowned upon, and no element of a multiple posting may trigger the winning event. Thus the first following non multiple post will win.
B. However the winning event is defined, it should probably take less than 1000 posts and less than two weeks to achieve.
C. Posting of larger pics is discouraged (Modem users do still exist, sometimes people read the forum via their mobile data, and these threads can get quite long.)
D. Don't post any clearly copyrighted pictures.
E. The post rules listed to the left of your post box are all enforced

I have good news everybody, My clothes washer can be repaired, it just needs 2 worm drive hose clamps a 1.25" and a 1.75", plus a pump which since I found the model number LXR7244PQ0 I found that a pump part number AP2907492 or PS342434 will do the job(two different sites said the same thing), all the parts cost $20.23 to $21.31 total for all 3 parts and I can order the parts online as soon as I have an extra $20.23 to $21.31(pump is $14.85 via ebay and clamps at Autozone are $5.38 to 6.46 with 8% sales tax), on Thorsday I'll call the park and tell them what I know, plus I have the instructions on doing the work, though I'm unable to do that work, too much bending and standing for Me. One site said 70% of the time when water leaks, the pump is at fault, the hose clamps back then were the clip on type which is no longer used from what I've read.

Well done Scott!! :)

Well done Zapped for the cookies! :)

Hi Zoom! Really glad to hear the machine can be repaired. Find it increasingly frustrating when I'm told "you'd be better off buying a new one".

Hello everyone! Just stealing a moment before getting on with my day. Hopefully be back in the cafe around lunchtime! :)

Yeah, I bought the machine Myself many years ago, so I bought what was also a Sears brand and back then they were made real well, pumps being made of plastic do break and being direct drive(no belt to worry about), installation is simplified some.
