Eric and I both decided that his caption "Itsy bitsy spiders should know better than to climb the waterspouts of secret government facilities" should not be in the running, since he is sleeping with the judge. (Although personally I found it to be hilarious!!!) The medal winners are as follows: Bronze goes to Lynn with "Hands up now! Who's seen a few logical outcomes lying around." Silver goes to anniet with "Spider mugged at gunpoint. Shocking picture shows it's no longer safe to walk across the wall." Congrats to WinterKnight :) You can start a new thread. Beet's Give Us a Caption #57 Rules of the game: Winner posts a new picture, waits 24 hours... After the 24 hours, he/she counts the number of captions, if the sum is less than ten, he/she waits another 24... After ten captions or NO LATER THAN 48 hours, the winner of the last round declares the winner of the current round - whatever caption strikes him/her as funniest: he/she also picks a second and third place (more on that below) The winner of the round has 24 hours to post another picture to be captioned; if no picture within the 24 hours, (or notice posted by the winner that he/she is looking...) then second place is up, who also has 24 hours... During breaks in the action, (between a winner being declared and the next picture posted) general discussion may take place... Moderators should be aware that a picture posting may cross with a "general discussion" type posting. ID: 1532114 ·
