Welcome Guys :) I hope I remember to turn on NASA tonight, to watch the bloody moon. Hope everyone else who wants to see it, gets to do so. |

It will be at it's max here at 12:48 am and a weather front is moving in so I won't be getting up to watch a cloud covered sky. |

It looks like it will be clear enough here in central Florida to watch the entire event. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

There were some high cirrus clouds overhead and they lent a spookiness to the scene as the moon progressed into the earth's shadow. All of the clouds to the east turned reddish while the ones to the west stayed silvery until totality when all the clouds had a red hue. Going to bed now. Got some cloud here to the east over the coast so I'm not sure if I'll be able to see the start of it tonight. Cheers. |

Just went outside to check it out myself. Big and full and orange as can be. The full eclipse here is another twenty minutes or so off, but it's bedtime for the kittyman. I do appreciate seeing what I did, however. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

It came up here with a slight red tinge as seen through the clouds, but now the cloud is really getting in the way and the moon is now starting to come out of the eclipse. Oh well, maybe we'll get a better look at it here in October. Cheers. |

If it had been tonight I would have seen nothing. Completely overcast. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |
