Es99, before you make repost of this slander, need to study the subject, carefully and thoroughly!
It is not "Teenagers are pretty awful wherever you are...", it's worse! Here's an example, Lugansk May 12, 2014, Russian separatists chained Ukrainian activist Mikhail Logvinenko and beaten (video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDlSUcLcb_o and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2gcyjSv1cQ
Read full article (in russian) http://podrobnosti.ua/analytics/2014/05/13/975670.html
Here there is a war, specifically against fascism, only - from the Russia and russians! Already killed 30 soldiers and officers of Ukrainian Army!!!!
"Separatists have already killed 78 people (only using firearms),.. We have 125 cases of hostage-taking..." - said said Chief of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine M.Goshovskiy, see the http://society.lb.ua/accidents/2014/05/14/266474_donbasse_separatisti_ubili_78.html
You say, "teenagers ..."! On the chain, no one (of you) wants? We also....

Sorry Alex, I am not sure where I said what you think I said. I can't find it.

Good idea.
Russian RT is broadcasting in English and can be reached at http://rt.com worldwide.
Are there any similar in Ukraine?
Or newspapers that have translated the text into English.
Google Translate does not work so well between Slavic and Germanic languages.
The translation will often be incomprehensible.

I think we have some translation issues.

Also the topic is very complicated, my best friend has has a PHd in politics in this area and she is still trying to unpick it all. However, when she was on the radio a few weeks ago she did say that western intervention would be a bad idea.

The topic is very complicated indeed.
Very much has changed in Ukraine since this thread started about 2 months ago.
The thread could easily being forked into more threads if someone wants it.

And the translation issues are many.

Complicated does not work in a forum such as this or with information in general; that is why the popular press uses "sound bites", they are easy to digest.

Even so called serious media adapts there texts so that at least High School students should be able to understand it.
In this forum, I think it's different.

No matter the forum keep it short and to the point; no one is going to read a long back and forth argument especially when it is not a hot news topic any longer. I haven't heard a lead Putin story in quite some time. Perhaps Crimea is enough for now.

Maybe Putin is aware of this and is laughing at the West...

UK's oil, gas & coal gone in 5 years

"The EU is becoming ever more reliant on our resource-rich neighbours such as Russia and Norway, and this trend will only continue unless decisive action is taken," he added."

...if the EU continues to sanction him, all he has to do is turn the taps off :-)

Of course Putin is laughing.
Everything goes according to the plan.
No regular military forces needed to conquer the Crimea and the Donbass.
Only a company with about 100 volunteers Cossack soldiers from the Stavropol region.
They are now in Kramatorsk helping their separatist brothers.
Supreme leader of the separatists is Igor Strelkov, a colonel in the Russian military underrättelsetjönsten GRU whose real name is Igor Girkin.

Putin's motto is Divide and Conquer.
First Ukraine then the EU.

The troops who took Crimea looked very regular, in fact they looked like special forces. The ones causing trouble in the other states are lightly trained thugs most likely backed up by special forces. It is time for US to enforced the Monroe Doctrine. If people don't want to be free nobody can stop them.

I have no idea where those researchers got their figures, British coal's figures would indicate the UK has about 200 years worth of known reserves. At the moment it is not worth producing as it is cheaper to import it.

And you can add to that figure all the coal under the North Sea which is estimated could be as high as 23 trillion tonnes, about 4 times more than we have mined over the last few hundred years.

Drilling date set for North Sea’s vast coal reserves

And we haven't even started to produce gas by fracking, which no doubt the great unwashed would demand if all other sources of energy were to be stopped.

Here is 'Dingo', 'Zjnets' och 'Zjeton' in Kramatorsk.
http://www.dn.se/nyheter/varlden/ryska-kosacksoldaterna-vi-har-deltagit-i-striderna/
They aren't special forces.
'Dingo's real name is Yevgeny and has been an officer in the Russian army. He participated in the Crimea in February and March when Russia turned the peninsula from Ukraine's happening with the help of the military and a controversial referendum.

Racist?

Its a term for the the working class or the general public. The proletariat.

Its not a racist term, classist maybe, but not racist.

Of course I find it interesting that you think it is a racist term.
