Hi, I have installed "boinc-app-seti" on my raspberry pi. OK Then I have identified myself on the seti project. OK but after hours it still doesn't stat running any task :'( Do you have any idea ? P.S. : I'm doing everything with boinccmd sine I don't have X on this machine. copy of the get_state command : $ sudo -u boinc boinccmd --get_state ======== Projects ======== 1) ----------- name: SETI@home master URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ user_name: grrosminet team_name: resource share: 100.000000 user_total_credit: 0.000000 user_expavg_credit: 0.000000 host_total_credit: 0.000000 host_expavg_credit: 0.000000 nrpc_failures: 0 master_fetch_failures: 0 master fetch pending: no scheduler RPC pending: no trickle upload pending: no attached via Account Manager: no ended: no suspended via GUI: no don't request more work: no disk usage: 0.000000 last RPC: 1391688656.142810 project files downloaded: 0.000000 GUI URL: name: Message boards description: Correspond with other users on the SETI@home message boards URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_index.php GUI URL: name: Help description: Ask questions and report problems URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_help_desk.php GUI URL: name: Your account description: View your account information URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/home.php GUI URL: name: Your preferences description: View and modify your computing preferences URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=global GUI URL: name: Your results description: View your last week (or more) of computational results and work URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=333747 GUI URL: name: Your computers description: View a listing of all the computers on which you are running SETI@Home URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?userid=333747 GUI URL: name: Donate description: Donate to SETI@home URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_donate.php ======== Applications ======== 1) ----------- name: setiathome_enhanced Project: SETI@home ======== Application versions ======== 1) ----------- application: setiathome_enhanced version: 6.97 project: SETI@home ======== Workunits ======== ======== Tasks ======== |

Without an actual log there's not much to go on but hunches. And to find the log, you'll need to have started the BOINC binary with the --redirectio command. Else there's no log in stdoutdae.txt So, if you didn't start with boinc --redirectio, please do so and instruct BOINCCMD to make contact with the project, through boinccmd --project https://setiathome.berkeley.edu update, then check stdoutdae.txt for the contents and post those here. |

it was started with --redirectio :) I think the error is 06-Feb-2014 13:30:23 [SETI@home] Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a usable version of SETI@home v7. But what should I do about that ? stdoutdae.txt : 06-Feb-2014 13:10:53 [---] Starting BOINC client version 7.0.27 for arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf |

Looks like you might need to check out this page. http://burdeview.blogspot.com/2013/06/new-setihome-v7-client-for-raspberry-pi.html |

interesting, what is seti performance on that hardware? also, maybe anyone know, what's about paralella 99$ "supercomputer" performance in SETI / boinc? http://shop.adapteva.com/ |

In Seti/BOINC I wouldn't know, but at Einstein there's this thread about Parallella, Raspberry Pi, FPGA & All That Stuff. |

The RAC of my overclocked Raspberry Pi is 24.92. I'm hoping someone creates a version of Seti@Home that uses the Raspberry PI's GPU ( http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/5934 ) to speed it up! |
