Ok Timmy,

now I'm here! I guess you will have a cup of coffee? Can I offer you a cup from Kenya beans?

And I've baked, so I've brought you a piece of my good Sacher Torte, made with mostly 70% Belgian Chocolate, almonds, eggs and very little flour. Split and put together with abricot-jelly and smeared again with abricot-jelly and finally covered with a thick layer of real chocolate. So here it is, served with a little whipped cream aside and a big glass of cold water (which you will need to drink in between of the bites of this 70% chocolate)!

I'll have a club sandwich and a cup of white tea, if they have it, or a cup of Pearly Jasmine green tea!

So, what's todays topic? Maybe we should keep it a bit light-hearted after the past days turmoil and not too heavy, because I'm not so fast today!

And BTW, everybody are wellcome to join us! My cyber Sacher Torte is big enough for all to get a piece! So just help yourselves! Just order what you want of food and drinks! And if you want to smoke tobacco of any kind, you're wellcome!

Eastern Time zone 11:54 am here. I have been awake for several hours
I just was watching the end of the movie 2010.

All I could think of is "Something Wonderful" I am ready for lunch!
Soup, Sandwhich, Pickles.

Yes, I have noticed during the past days that you are on quite "early" which means afternoon for us here! Then late at the evening, about 10 - 12, people start to go online, and the fun starts at 3 - ? when the Pacific Time Zoners plus the eastern nightowls get on!

I'm usually a b-person, but sometimes I get in an extreme b-mode, what computer nerds call vampire mode, you know, go to bed at sunrise and wake up again at sunset! These days, here in Denmark at latitude 55, I hardly get any daytime to see, since the sun sets after 8 a.m and goes down before 4 p.m.! So if I need to do something during the day or have an appointment, I set my alarmclock for it!

I spoke with one of my friends about this, and he had a theory that goes, that people can be timezone displaced! Being born and living in the wrong timezone, so a-people really should live in -x GMT and b-people should live in +x GMT (all in relation to CET, of course! We spoke as Danes!). So my real timezone would be, say, Mountain Time Zone or even Pacific Time Zone???? So, what do you think of this?

Then you can have your Torte as dessert!

Lena, Is that a typo "the sun sets after 8 a.m and goes down before 4 p.m.!"
which means it is Nightime during the Daytime?

Timmy!

Hmm.. my English is a little rusty some times! I mean, it (the Sun) comes up (shows itself over the horizon) at 8.38 a.m. (+ 17 minutes here in Esbjerg!) and goes down (disappear under the horizon) at 15.35 p.m. (again + 17 minutes here in Esbjerg)! sunrise - sunset, yes! Thanks for correction! Even I think my English is quite good, I sometimes get it wrong. Especially when I think I know the word and don't look it up in my dictionary! So sometimes people must be puzzled :-)

good morning, good afternoon, good night...the time is right somewhere for a cup of quadruple strength instant coffee...with no sugar or cream...that's the blend i used to get me through the night on long overnight radio shifts when i was in college...it would keep me going 'till i got off work...only wearing off when it was time to go to class...now i work the morning shift...my first cup of rocket fuel comes at 5am...but i'll still be up late tonight...courtesy of my afternoon nap...which may run for 3 hours...then i'm up 'till 2 or later...waiting for nothing in particular to happen in the universe...then another 3 hour nap and iit coffee time...then back to work again...and so it goes.

PROUD TO BE TFFE!

Oh, No Timmy!

I only serve the Sacher Torte! What people want, they must order from the café! In fact, I had an ulterior motive with the chocolate cake! That the theobromine would further peoples minds and thoughts and contribute to a nice, witty, and funny conversation! ;-) Plus, it will enhance the general feeling of wellbeing here by working as endorphines in the brain!

Lena :-)

Intresting Story mmmmmm

The Sacher Torte Story

This famous cake was at the heart of a controversy in Austria for six years. It seems some Austrians took their baking so seriously that an argument over what constituted a true Sacher Torte erupted and had to be decided in court. In the early 1800's, the Congress of Vienna ruled on the matter. It decided that the true Sacher Torte was made of two chocolate cake layers separated by apricot jam with a chocolate glaze over the top and sides of the cake. Justice was served!!

Yep, this is the one!

Timmy,

I'll have to go now. There is a romantic movie on tv now I'll go and watch! Sometimes one needs a little romance in ones life, you know, so romance by proxy can be OK! And after I have a book to read, and I'll try to go to bed early or at least before 3 a.m. ;-)

See you later!

Oh, I found out that it was one with Julia Roberts (who is not my cup of tea!) and Nick Nolte (Who I'm not a fan of neither!), so I watched some on BBC Prime about Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria, who also gave name to a certain kind of piercing! Hmmm....

Yes, I would just look if someone had something interesting to say, but then I realized that Mayhem had broke loose! I wrote my e-mail before, if you would care to continue without any Guido's. Did you write it down?
