Hi All, After many years away from seti, I've recently re-installed on many PCs. One interesting thing I noticed is that they are all crunching work units which were recorded in 2008. I was just curious about the reasoning behind that. Are they work units which were already processed, but are being re-processed with new logic (looking for signal types which weren't being searched for the first time around? |

A combination of tapes that were set aside as being "unusable" for whatever reason, tapes that were sidelined during when there was more data coming in than could be parsed, tapes that are being re-run to act as a bit of a calibration check, and tapes that are being re-scanned for different types of wave form to their initial crunching.
