OK Michael, First Welcome to SETI@Home. Now let's see what you are doing right, or wrong: You've got BOINC loaded (the environment used by SETI@Home and number of other distributed computing projects), you've connected to SETI@Home, and have got some Work Units for your computer to work on. So all you do now is to sit back and wait. In the next few days (depending on how you use your PC) the first of your results will be calculated and returned to SETI@Home's servers and a few more Work Units will be sent out to you. You now have to wait for those results to be validated (this can take seconds or months), credit will be awarded...
