I'm trying to run multiple projects on one computer but most of the time pc works only with one of them.
One way I found to do this is from "Preferences" for each project - "Resource share" - but this just not working. Also try with “use at most xx% of the processors” – no result.
The problem is that "Deadline" for tasks from different projects is not the same and tasks from some projects start running with “High Priority” immediately after downloading.
For example “Deadline” for LHC is about 7 days, for Milkyway – 14 days, for SETI – more than 30 … so in my case LHC runs almost all the time – unless I stop it manually.

Is there any way to set different “threshold” for high priority tasks for different projects or at least set for all to smaller value – lets say 2 or 3 days (now I think it’s 10 or 14)

For each project go to your Account web page, find the "preferences for this project" button (name varies somewhat between projects), then "Edit preference for this project" and then set the resource share for each project. Set the one you want to do most work to 1000, the next one to something a lot smaller and so on. Zero share has a special meaning - its used to say "If you can't get work from any other project then use this one".
As for setting deadlines, some projects are very "thugish" in the use of short deadlines so they tend to hog systems almost appearing to ignore any resource share above zero. (Well that' my opinion anyway).

Don't forget that the resource share is a time average, and the timebase for the share is days if not weeks.
