regime change, if O decides to strike. No it won't. But worth the try on Assad. We have extremists all over the world, can't win them all. |

You call these "won"? Iraq Afghanistan Won't be long before you can add Syria to those. How long do you think "O" will stay as a surgical strike just will not work & he'll end up sending boots in. |

You call these "won"? Bush did Afghanistan, and Iraq. Iraq said to have chemical weapons. More than enough boots on the ground in both of those countries. I'm not for war. |

Agreed. However, the Middle East don't care who sent the boots in, all they see is the "Great Satan & her Allies". It won't be long before the West in its grab for Wealth & Oil will change a regime too far. The results won't be liked. It seems that nobody in power currently in the West is looking to the future, just today! |

It seems a strike on Syria, is a no win situation for everyone. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-23886605 Arab League says no talk of Syria of military action http://www.latimes.com/world/worldnow/la-fg-wn-syria-us-warships-20130829,0,502572.story U.S. deploys fifth warship near Syria |

Obama had to open his big mouth about drawing a line in the sand. Well now those words are biting him right in the ass. If he does nothing some will say hes backpedeling. I hope he dosent want to do anything. But feels by opening his big trap he has to. I hope he does nothing. I feel that something nogood will come of this if he does.
Old James |

Obama had to open his big mouth about drawing a line in the sand. Well now those words are biting him right in the ass. If he does nothing some will say hes backpedeling. He listened to a State Department Bureaucrat. Same thing got shrub. Now he has jumped from the frying pan into the fire. If the USA goes in, and it is not the world's police force, it needs to go in so hard that not one single leader, even that Korean idiot, ever thinks of provoking the USA again. Something along the lines of don't know which side used them, but they both have them but neither will by this time tomorrow as orders have been given to glassify. If he isn't willing to do that, he shouldn't be drawing lines in the sand. |

That's what I'm afraid of. It's got to the point where the citizens of each nation do not count for anything. We're here just to serve. |

update: Friday was a holy day in Syria. Obama administration needs all weapons inspectors, out of Syria and well into Europe, before the attack. The attack could happen Saturday night?? So say the talking heads on TV. U.S. officials’ strong words on Syria signal that attack is near The Obama administration laid out a case Friday for launching a military strike against Syria that left little room for doubt that an attack is imminent. http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/kerry-lays-out-evidence-of-chemical-weapons-attack-by-syria/2013/08/30/d1c19d58-118f-11e3-bdf6-e4fc677d94a1_story.html?hpid=z2 I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once. -Jennifer Unlimited- Lynn |

I think we will see a tommahawk missle attack . And a big one at that. I know they have two DDG's plus 3 other ships,( not sure what type ) Im sure they have at least one sub that carries tommahawks in place also. I sure hope Obama listens to Us and does nothing.
Old James |

Nobody see the danger here? The Six Day War Yom Kippur War "1967 This escalation led the Syrians and the Soviets to believe Israel was planning to overthrow the Syrian regime using military force." "1973 Both the United States and the Soviet Union initiated massive resupply efforts to their respective allies during the war, and this led to a near-confrontation between the two nuclear superpowers." The current situation goes pear-shaped who's to say that Syria or one of the other Arab Nations won't attack Israel using the Attack on Syria as a smokescreen. Israel gets hit by Chemical Agents, their reply will be nukes. Welcome to WWIII. |

I'm sure Obama is glued to his Quantum Computer taking in the wise council of all the armchair diplomats around the world and will never let it get to WWIII. One cruise missile that takes out Assad would be a show stopper. |
