Every workunit is sent to more than one computer so that the results can be compared. If the returned results match strongly, both participants get credit for the time crunched.

Sometimes, some workunits don't match up at all. For example, when I look at the "inconclusives" in your account (of which you only have one), your partner returned the following result:

Spike count: 19
Autocorr count: 11
Pulse count: 0
Triplet count: 0
Gaussian count: 0

While you returned:

Spike count: 3
Autocorr count: 1
Pulse count: 0
Triplet count: 1
Gaussian count: 0

So the workunit will be sent out to yet another cruncher to see what they come up with. If the result closely matches yours, you two will get credit. If the result closely matches the other person's, they will get credit. If the third person comes back with something entirely different, another workunit will be sent out.
