I have nVidia 470 and 660ti GPUs in my cruncher and I downloaded and installed the new Lunatics optimizer today. During setup, there are two different preferred CUDA options for each of these GPUs, based on GPU design. Which option should I choose? I chose the CUDA settings for the 470, because I thought these settings would work for both GPUs, whereas choosing the 660ti settings might hamper the 470. However, it seems that with these settings, the 660ti is running slow. Any help and recommendations here would be gratefully appreciated. I realize that these Lunatics optimizations are brand new to everyone but I thought I'd ask my Seti brethren. Thank You |

You could also go with the cuda50 version to help your 660ti. The 470 will run either. Personally, I wouldn't go lower than 42. |

Hi Gatekeeper, Thanks a lot. I'll stick with the Cuda42 just to make sure the 470 runs as it should. Maybe a month from now I'll change over to Cuda50 just to try it out, but maybe other people will have the same problem I do and maybe there'll be a more definitive answer. |
