If you are experiencing a downclocking issue with your NVIDIA GPU


You might want to upgrade your driver to a 304.x driver.

The following is from NVIDIA's 304.48 description, QUOTE:


Key Fixes

Fixes an intermittent vsync stuttering issue with GeForce GTX 600-series GPUs.
Fixes an issue where some manufacturer’s factory overclocked cards default to and run at lower clocks.

304.48 and 304.79 drivers for Windows are beta at this moment.
