I just upgraded my computer from an Athlon II x4 to a Phenom II x6.... So why did I loose a work unit and not gain 3?

I was running 4 on the processor and 2 on the video cards. Now windows reports the new processor is running at 53% and Boinc manager shows 3 work units running on it. Shouldn't I have 3 more?

According to your task list, you have 6 CPU tasks in progress (4 MB and 2 AP), but if some (3) of them have finished but are not reported yet, that would explain your picture. Probably your host makes combined requests for GPU and CPU tasks and only gets GPU ones.

For a workaround, you could temporarily set "Use NVIDIA GPU" to "no" in your SETI@home preferences.

That was exactly the problem. I just looked at the full cue of work units. I failed to take notice of what type they were...

Thanks
