So prior to putting seti back into my pc I had no problems with standby. Now even after uninstalling it once I tell the PC to go into standby within 2seconds it comes right by on. Anybody have any ideas of settings that maybe it changed causing this? WOL is off on both network cards. powercfg says s1 and s3 standby are available.


Im confused on what to check here, board doesnt support hibernate and it takes FOREVER to boot. So I kinda want to be in the middle of speed and power savings. Work has been slow and it sucks up some power.

It doesn't look like you're running anything BOINC related. According to your profile, S@H has been inactive for over 30 days. In any case, neither BOINC nor S@H changes any settings on your computer.
