People who believe in God by definition believe in extraterrestrial life unless either (a) they believe God is something other than a living being or (b) that God exists only here on earth. Maybe not, but it does open things up for a lively debate....here's my take on it... a) if true, then maybe that is why we continue to have the history of man on this planet & all his ill's & woes, as God is too busy circumnavigating the universe, checking out his creations - Until his/her next visit here. b) if true, that raises the question "How is he/she allowing man to destroy his/her creation? Over the decades, I've listened to both the religious & scientific arguements regarding the creation of the planets & life..... it leaves me with a puzzling/thought provoking question.......especially with regards to the "Big Bang"..... "Where did the gases come from that created that bang?" ____________

This may offend someone but I couldn't help but think, maybe God farted, creating all that gas.

I think ET and God are the same thing. Read any bible story - God talks one-on-one to people, gives objects to people, asks people to bring him food - so he eats. ----The conclusion = God is a man, a human being just like the rest of us! Just he was doing unusual stuff that the majority of people thought was magic or Godly. He was doing scientific things people did not understand. Conclusion 2 = Some people in biblical times had advanced science while the majority had no science. Its funny, sounds a bit like things today. People in the western world are taught a little science in school. But there are many countries that are still not teaching their children to read and write.

The conclusion = God is a man, a human being just like the rest of us! Just he was doing unusual stuff that the majority of people thought was magic or Godly. I'll slightly reword that if I may. Someone with the appearance of a human man, once did things that to the people of the time, could only be perceived as being possible by a god. Hence that person was revered as a god. All gods from all religions and civilisations came from the sky, did wondrous miracles, returned to the sky, promised to come back, but never have. Most miracles we can now understand today anyway! Persian flying carpets - Maglevs Magic rods that cut through stone - thermic lances Magic wands that kill at 100 paces - portable lasers The Ark of the Covenant that whoever touched it fell down dead - large battery to power comms device To sum up, any ET would be seen as a god on earth, although today not in a religious sense.

All gods from all religions and civilisations came from the sky, did wondrous miracles, returned to the sky, promised to come back, but never have.... Everything you say is spot on Chris! Except the never coming back bit. I will just add one word; Yet! They haven't come back, Yet! Lets see what happens Chris. You know the story, you know what i have been doing. So your at least aware of whats about to happen. Or at the very least, you have faith enough to keep an open mind. The coming years will be very bright and beautiful for some people, but it will be shear living hell for others. Keep the faith Chris, thats all it takes my friend. Thats all that Jesus asked people to do. Just to have a little faith and it will be revealed in the end. John. ____________

I think "yet" will be a very long time Johnney, not very likely to be in our lifetime. I think the last time they were likely here was around 10,000BC. We are talking long time scales here. Remember "a year in my life is not as a year in yours". Some UFO's may be unmanned surveillance drones though, not sure about that. The coming years will be very bright and beautiful for some people, but it will be shear living hell for others. I take that to mean the following. That when evidence arises that ET's were the original gods referred to in stories, religious texts, sagas, legends, folktales etc handed down over the years, those that always believed that will be vindicated. Those that believed the classical religions all their lives because that is what they were taught and brought up with, are going to have their lives and beliefs quite shattered.

This may offend someone but I couldn't help but think, maybe God farted, creating all that gas. Then followed through and created all the matter too. I trust he invented toilet paper first?? Now that we are spacemen too then that makes us Gods as well. Oh well, that the end of religion then, no need to follow it anymore. For we are the Gods so we each now set our own commandments to live by. Hmm, trouble here is that being a God I'm struggling to resurrect any of the dead, even the good ones.....got any tips anyone? ____________ The Kite Fliers -------------------- Kite fliers: An imaginary club of solo members, those who don't yet belong to a formal team so "fly their own kites" - as the saying goes.

Somebody that makes zombies is not a god. Whoever or whatever is responsible for this shell we live in called "the universe", that's god.

Is it not strange how God/god's image and deeds are depicted in Man's image?...

Somebody that makes zombies is not a god. Whoever or whatever is responsible for this shell we live in called "the universe", that's god. What zombies are you referring to? Those people in Haiti that are referred to as zombies are most likely under the influence of powerful mind drugs administered by local witch doctors. ____________ Bob DeWoody

Somebody that makes zombies is not a god. Whoever or whatever is responsible for this shell we live in called "the universe", that's god. I was referring to the "resurrected" kind... The kind found in some popular "mythological" books. But I digress, and I shut up before I start anyone's engine. ____________ -Dave #2

Remember "a year in my life is not as a year in yours". Some UFO's may be unmanned surveillance drones though, not sure about that. Chris, Yea, i thought exactly the same thing as you just stated there for many years. I thought to myself, "What are the chances of something biblical happening again, now or at any time in the future?". And the chances were always slim to none. At least thats what i thought, until i discovered what i discovered. And like i said before Chris, even knowing what i know, i still find it hard to believe myself whats about to happen. We are about to find out who we really are, where we came from, what happened in our ancient human history and who God really is. Chris read the message posted by "Nick" straight after your last post. Nick thinks there is no God. Or even better, Nick thinks he might be God himself. And he is so sure about it, he is so confident, he is able to sarcastically joke about it. Nick is 100% sure that either he is God or there is no God. So Nick is wondering how he is going to resurrect the dead. Well Chris remember what i told you. It will be beautiful for some people, those who had faith. And it will be sheer living hell for others. Nick might just regret having ever written that message. See Nick isn't going to be raising anyone from the dead. But he will live out his natural human lifespan till the day he dies knowing that many people around him will be reborn but he won't be coming back. Now thats what i call sheer hell. Knowing that everyone else who showed a little faith are coming back but your not. Its going to happen just like it says in the bible. Anyone can read the bible if they choose, nobody is forcing anyone to do it. Its all written down many thousands of years ago, and millions of people who have read the bible and have a little faith in it, know whats going to happen. And as people are about to find out, its cyclical. Its the same repeating cycle of events that keeps happening over and over again for tens of thousands of years, on many planets that orbit the stars that surround us. There is only one trick you got to learn, you got to play by the rules of the game. The game is the creation of intelligent people on new worlds and then letting them live there life to see what they do. If they are "bad", they don't get to come back. If they are "good", they do get to come back and become immortal. John 3:7. Read it Chris - John 3:7 "You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’" by Jesus Christ. ____________

That's where your wrong Johnny, I and all your perceived gods were formed via the laws of nature, don't let them kid you any other way. It's the laws of nature that will decide what will happen to me after I die and there are no gods who can defy nature no mater what your gods tell you. So no scaring me for I know the truth and it's for you to find out too. They may well kid you but they don't get away with it with me...they leave me alone for they wish not to be exposed as the frauds that they are....they know better than to try and step inside my head. ____________ The Kite Fliers -------------------- Kite fliers: An imaginary club of solo members, those who don't yet belong to a formal team so "fly their own kites" - as the saying goes.
