Here's my completed task and my new one: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=9693121

I looked at my results for the complete task, so can anyone help me understand what it means when my outcome was a success (did my task find ~something?) and the credits, why did I receive 528.51?

I'm still pretty new, so if anyone can help me understand my results that would be great. :)

Made your link clickable.

All that "it means" is that you and your wingman both reported strongly similar results for the assigned workunit, and therefore the results are validated, and credit is awarded.

Astropulse WU's earn more credit than Multibeam workunits, because they take longer (more calculations are made). The MB unit you now have will complete in far less time, and earn far less credit. From what I've heard, it sounds like the 528 credits for this task is a fairly typical amount for the new (V6) AP units that run to 100% completion (no early termination).

Thank you so much!

Also...this question probably gets asked a lot around here, but I just have to ask. How will we know if we found "something"? Meaning like, a signal of some kind, big or small? Will it just appear as a spike in the graphics? Or will we never be able to know ourselves, only SETI?

Read through http://seticlassic.ssl.berkeley.edu/about_seti/about_seti_at_home_1.html which may have been written for Seti Classic, but which is still true for Seti now as well. Page 5 deals with what happens when your computer find the Wow signal.
