What does "average credits" mean?

	I am new to this... does it mean average credits per work unit? This doesn't seem to be explained anywhere.. Thanks

	Thanks both. Not really sure I understand the calculation. If it's an average, I was expecting the numerator to be total credit and the denominator to be something like number of days, or number of projects or some such. So, on day one, I'd expect total credit to equal average credit. But it doesn't seem to work like that.

	It's not just Average (Credit/day) over the years, it's Recent Average Credit. The formula is based on week so when your account is one week old try Credit/7 and see is this = to your RAC (I'm not sure) After you accumulate some statistics (days) (now your page shows "Insufficient data available for charts") you will be able to see some graphs: http://boincstats.com/stats/user_graph.php?pr=sah&id=9639114 My: http://boincstats.com/stats/user_graph.php?pr=sah&id=8647488 ____________ - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)

	I believe it is an exponentially reducing average with a half life of 2 weeks. The basic principle is that tasks that are two weeks old have half the value of tasks completed now. 4 weeks old have half the value of two weeks old... ____________ BOINC WIKI
