What about using the service on the website www.spot.us It's a place where you can donate a xx ammouth of money to a specific goal to specific people. Today you can only contribute to SETI with a donation to the organasation as a whole, but maby I wantet to donate my money to a specific goal inside the SETI projekt. A new specific server A Fiberline Keeping the ATA alive ect. The money will only be pulled from my account if the goalline will be succesfull, eg if enough people think a specific idea is good enough, and if the limit of money has been reached. In this case I can donate money to several projekts inside SETI, and only if enough money is raised, the projekt will launch and the money will be drawn on my account. People can donate to specific goals of SETI. When you donate, you are allowed to leave a note along with the donation. If you put in the notes that your donation is strictly for hardware, or a specific piece of hardware, they will honor your stipulation. ID: 1145956 · |
