I've got two SETI@Home accounts. This one shows my SETI@Home Classic stats. I had forgotten that I created this account and believed that my Classic info had been lost. Now that I've found it, I'd like to merge it with my second profile that has well over 1 million total credits. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to do this?

Sorry, it's not possible to merge two BOINC-project accounts.

You could copy your SETI-classic data into a signature, though (see mine).

Gruß,
Gundolf

At one point I think it was possible because I remember doing a merge or something. My sig shows what my classic stats are and I didnt have to manually add them.

Yes, you can link your SETI-classic account to your SETI-BOINC account, but only once. After that, it has to stay with it and cannot be linked again.

Well, maybe clarification on the OP's post might help because really, it could mean two things.

1) He already at some point in the past merged a BOINC account with a classic acount which means he's SOL now.

2) His two Seti@Home accounts could be one classic and one BOINC which means he's not SOL.

Edit: I may have stuck my own foot in my mouth, the account he used to post here that he says shows his classic stats is a BOINC account right ? That said then yes he would unfortunately be SOL.

I just noticed your reply to my question. I appreciate your time, but I've decided to stick with this profile. I'll hit a million again eventually...
