It is saying: "No work available to process". By what is going on in the Technical Forums, it seems servers are up and everything is fine.

Nope, servers aren't up. See the Cricket Graphs. And the Server status page hangs [As of 19 Mar 2011 | 0:20:07 UTC].

You have to remember, that a lot of people update the max days of projects to anywhere from 4-10. I usually try and keep all of mine at 10, just for times like these. That way, usually, I can still keep crunching even though the servers are down. Usually it will not affect a person unless they(the servers) are down for 3-8 days, after that most systems start running out of work and everything gets bottlenecked trying to get workunits. Hope this helps.

Hope this helps. There are two other ways of dealing with project outages: 1) Join several projects. If you join 3 that typically have work, typically at least one will be giving out work. (NOTE: Projects like LHC and Pirates do not count as typically having work). 2) Ignore the problem. BOINC was using some otherwise unused CPU cycles anyway, right? ____________ BOINC WIKI
