As I am sure there are other Space.com forums members here I hope one of you has an answer to my question. I really miss the Space.com forums but I hate Facebook and if that is the only connection then I will probably decline to participate that way.

Ya, I'm with you on this. Unfortunately I think they are dead, they have been MIA for along time.

Guys, this is where its at! This is where its all happening! This is the place to be. Everybody wants to be seen hanging out here guys! That space.com place was never any good.

I agree there was a lot of junk to weed through on Space.com forums but there were also a lot of good discussions to participate in too. I made some good online friends during the years that I participated on those forums.

I don't feel like I'm well enough educated in space science and astronomy to contribute anything meaningful here.

Occasionally a real scientist will drop by but most of us are just fumblers and bumblers. So don't be shy about sharing your opinions, Bob, no one else is.
